This film, however, has begun to change my opinion as its blends genuine stylistic vision and horrific ideas together with the usual gore, nudity, and sex. In Fascination, Rollin manages to create a truly mesmerizing descent into erotic terror as it also surrealistically interrogates and undermines notions of class and station in the face of evil and pure desire.
