Victor O I got bored, looking at the filmographies of various actors when this caught my eye. Being a fan of CSI: Miami, I remembered Rory Cochrane and just like his fellow co-star David Caruso with NYPD Blue, this movie seemed appropriate. Not to mention a cast of decent actors including Gina Gershon, Ron Silver, and Alison Eastwood seemed to be worth my time. Chris O'Brien is a rookie cop paired with a gorgeous but hardened veteran cop known as Nora Hugosian or simply Hugs. The two get around to the scene when IAB warns Chris that a serial killer is out murdering criminals with a signature – their left eye is shot out. Chris is told to keep an eye, no pun intended, on his new partner who despite her gender is a capable and sometimes ferocious officer. The young rookie feels for his new partner but is deeply troubled by the morality of murder with his religious views. All this while Hugs seduces and keeps her secrets concerning this serial killer to an exciting conclusion. This wasn't too bad at all. Many a good actors but not the most substantial writing or storytelling. This was a bit of a chore but it kept me on my toes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Not the best movie, or even a good movie, but Gina Gershon makes it watchable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Great cop movie, great cult classic. Gina Gershon played a convincing veteran cop in the mean streets. When I first saw this movie when I was in college, I couldn't believe some of the things that happened. But in reality, I experienced some of those things first hand-go figure.
