      Audience Member I wish I could give this movie no stars at all. It is one of the worst movies I have ever seen and I could not stand the cringe factor and songs in this movie. I hate this movie so much and didn't even choose to watch it. Charles Strouse and Lee Adams wrote some nice songs, but the two-hour anecdote on which they hang is as flimsy as fluff. Jason Alexander and Vanessa Williams give horrible performances. The teleplay is badly written. Gene Saks did an awful job directing this t.v. movie. I was not impressed with this t.v. film.
