Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com This melancholy revenge drama showcases Jordan's enduring muse Stephen Rea, as well as themes he'd continue to enhance in subsequent features. Rated: 3/5 Oct 20, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

william k Compelling drama set amidst the topic of the Northern Ireland Troubles is an atmospheric character study (Stephen Rea excellent as the saxophonist/killer) amongst some great Irish settings. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review joe m I couldn't really make it through this film very well since the subtitles were cut off. Yet, from what a was able to glean, the movie tells the story of gay Greek guy who hooks up with a lover who turns out to be an abuser and a user. Family, work, police and relationship problems all ensue. Ground breaking for 1982, but now it just comes off as 'been there, seen that'. I didn't find the acting and story arc compelling - plus at nearly two hours, too long, it would have benefited from some editing. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review Read all reviews
