      Critics Consensus

In the grand tradition of teen flicks, Loser comes across as another predictable and underwritten movie with nothing new to offer.

Test T I don't know why this got poor reviews. It's a decent enough story, and there's plenty of interesting characters along the way. It also has a cool music video and a happy ending. The only problem I could see was that the story is a little bit too real, and reflects badly on American society when you see how students from modest backgrounds get treated by the people exploiting them. Putting that to one side the film is ok, and perfectly watchable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/12/23 Full Review Andre G He is exactly what the title says, he's a loser. Really funny too. Just your typical loser going through college. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/10/23 Full Review Audience Member 2.8. I think the overlooking of date raping may have not gone as well today tho Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/14/21 Full Review Audience Member A charming time capsule of the early 2000s. We've all seen the nice guy get the girl a million times before, but the character work in Loser combined with standout performances by Biggs, Suvari, and Kinnear makes the film worth watching. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review steve d appropriately titled for its unlikable script and characters. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I went with 3 stars on this movie I have seen it a few times, but I have not seen this movie in forever I so would watch again.
