Audience Member Oliver Reed is a prison warden who is forced to help spring Fabio Testi when his wife is kidnapped and held hostage, but when Testi is free, he has no idea who would be trying to free him, so we spend the rest of the film with a desperate Reed trying to use Testi to figure out who's masterminding this escape and to what end. Gritty Euro-crime, well worth a look! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Sergio Sollima's violent film of murder & mayhem. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The opening sequence is so solidly done, but the rest of the film fails to live up to its grandiose emotional gesture with the beautiful piece "Un Amico" by Ennio Morricone. Oliver Reed's performance is shaky, sometimes fierce and commanding, sometimes awkward and bumbling. Overall it's a flawed work with plenty of potential behind it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member An easy but entertaining enough police story that later turns into political thriller. Cool atmospheres and fine music. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Oliver Reed oli kova jannu! Ja Sergio Sollima rikollisen tuntematon "suurelle yleisölle". Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member A great movie that features great performances from Reed and Testi, an intriguing plot with plenty of twists, a beautiful score by Ennio Morricone, and great action scenes. Don't let the trailers fool you though, the film is advertised as a down and dirty action flick, but actually has more to offer and almost rises above it's B movie status.
