Audience Member Doesn't have anything to do with the Bronte novel, just the title. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This sounded a lot better than it was. I found this movie to be pretty stupid. The main characters were stupid, and the storyline was stupid. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member heathclift watta name Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Uf! Que perdida de tiempo. Lo rescatable, un poco, fue la musica. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I like it because of the music. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member If I'd had the option, I would have given this movie exactly zero stars. Unfortunately, rotten tomatoes requires reviewers to actually use the stars. This movie was absolutely the worst I have ever seen. I went in with extremely low expectations, since it's an MTV movie. However, I didn't expect that I would actually end the movie with tears of laughter and horror. But that's what happened. The characters are all horrible people who just keep getting more horrible. Shockingly enough, the women in this version of Wuthering Heights are actually MORE objectified than in the actual 19th century version--shocking because back then women actually were property. Beyond the fact that the story and the characters were despicable, it featured cheesy and teen-angst-chic music. My favorite character was Edward's cello. Never mind that the cello isn't a character, it was literally the only part of the movie I didn't hate. Anybody who has read the book will hate this movie. Anybody who hasn't read the book will also hate this movie and, what's more, will probably think the book is actually this horrible and they will never read it.
