robert p A great movie about gay and AID's its basically a two man skit for most of the movie!!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review dave j Adapted from Tony Piccirillo own play directing it for the screen centers on Tom (Scott Speedman) holding Dan (James Marsden) hostage against his own free will for the purpose of knowing what the test results are going to be which is the 24th day- hence the title, after he finds out he is HIV positive and assumes he got it from him. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting set up but once it gets past explaining the motive then it becomes dull. Too much talking and just sitting around. Should've included a problem of an uninvited guest to bring more action to the plot. And the editing is pretty awful. Jump cuts galore. But solid acting- probably the only thing that kept this movie afloat Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Good acting, decent dialogue, just doesn’t know how to fill up all of it’s running time. Mostly just boring filler Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/12/18 Full Review Audience Member The acting is good and the story is good. Not a bad film but definitely could've been much better. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member i wouldn't call this "horror" but rather a well crafted drama Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Robert Koehler Variety The movie is never more than a hesitantly filmed recording of the play. Jul 21, 2004 Full Review Philip Wuntch Dallas Morning News At times The 24th Day plays like a two-man actor's workshop. As navigated by talented actors and director, it nonetheless proves a riveting ride. Rated: B- Jun 17, 2004 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter What might have proved reasonably compelling onstage comes across as forced on film, with credibility taking a back seat to contrivance. Jun 2, 2004 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com This unexpected gem is a reminder of what great little gems can be created on a small budget. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 24, 2020 Full Review Don Willmott Filmcritic.com The battle of wits and the search for the truth goes along right up until the film's unpredictable ending. Rated: 3/5 Sep 27, 2004 Full Review David Noh Film Journal International The ceaseless twists and turns Piccirillo keeps introducing are at first intriguing, but eventually become tiresome, as if he's trying to hold our interest any way he can.
