Leopold S I have to admit, I only lasted about 5 minutes into it -- it was SO terrible, amateurish, badly filmed, hokey, pretentious -- 3 or 4 early lines of dialogue were abysmal & Mira Sorvino spoke the narration with a really fake-sounding Spanish accent. Sub-direct to video level garbage to AVOID!!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review Audience Member Okay thriller, undone by confusing directing (editing?), as if 20 minutes have gone missing somewhere. Supporting cast (Atkine, Valli, Tosar) better than the leads. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member First half is decent, then it gets far too convoluted. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Based on a David Hewson novel this lumbering bore of a "horror movie" deservedly went straight to DVD. Mira Sorvino, with a fluctuating Spanish accent and Olivier Martinez investigate a series of serial killings during Holy Week celebrations leading up to Easter. Extremely cheap looking photography doesn't help matters either. This is a shame, but don't let this put you off reading Hewson's work. Leave this one on the shelf to gather dust and head to your local library or bookstore for the paperback instead. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved the scenery, but the acting left alot to be desired. Where did they dig up Olivier Martinez? Did he get cast because he was dating Kylie Minogue at the time? Dude can't act his way out of a paper bag. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Great actors in a bad film Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
