Mark B Why do actors like Bruce Willis do movies like this? It wasn't the worst idea for a movie ever. It could have been decent. but oh my god was this a steaming pile of garbage! There's about 10 things going on at once and it doesn't tie together at all. The acting is horrible, directing is terrible, the action is lame and when the kid says "Chief Talley!" like it's a Bambi movie I threw up in my mouth! Do NOT waste your time! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/06/23 Full Review VICTORIA B I loved this movie, gripping the whole way and Bruce Willis was great in it as we're the children. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/20/23 Full Review Jack O What can I think about Hostage since I am a really huge fan of Die Hard. Well, it's kind of the same thing and this time it's intense and over-the-top. The opening is where a man takes his wife and his son hostage after he finds out that his wife cheated on him so Chief Talley negotiates with him. Now Dennis, Kevin and Mars are taking the Smith family hostage. The hostage situations are clearly intense in the sense and that is to say that Die Hard is not intense. Kind of a cliche to be the same thing, don't you think? However I really enjoyed it not as much as I enjoyed Die Hard a lot more. It hasn't got a lot of action in it but it's more like an action drama in the way that they're being held hostage. I would let you guys watch it if you're interested that is if you can the fact that you may feel like they being held Hostage but it's only pretending. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/19/23 Full Review william w good movie! bruce willis played jeff talley a cop who was so badass! The ending was amazing! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/29/22 Full Review Audience Member It's a simple plot executed with perfection with a twist, it has everything you need for a balanced meal. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member One of Bruce’s more underrated movies. Cool plot, acting was pretty good all around Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/26/21 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
