Some of the wildest, most beautifully stunning landscapes on Earth are captured in this IMAX documentary, spanning the globe from the Grand Canyon and the parched desert of Namibia to the ancient forests of British Columbia and the rain forests of Borneo. But the film also focuses on the indigenous people of these extraordinary places, who each explain how they live in harmony with the planet and with the many animals who also call it home. The film includes narration by Robert Redford.

Dale R A documentary featuring nature images from around the world and narration from tribal cultures and Robert Redford. The images were recorded specifically for IMAX theaters. I saw the film on my television and not seeing it on the medium it was designed for may take away a little from the experience. The overall message of conservation and living as one with the planet spoken by people who do that everyday. If you are into conservationism and nature documentaries then this is a film for you. Lindo, puro, genuíno, limpo, emocionante, sincero, cativante e apaixonante... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member The DVD special features are actually a little more interesting than the film. Beautiful imagery, beautiful message, but I wish things wouldn't be shot specifically for IMAX screens. Or if they were that they would simultaneously be shot for regular screens for the home release. The format of getting completely immersed in the images through peripheral vision and the giant screen experience is entirely lost on a home tv unless you're a billionaire with a home IMAX theatre (in which case hit me up, I'll totally come shack up with you). So. While the images are beautiful, and the dialogue that was present was important, it would've benefited from a little more narrative to add something to the at home experience. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Beautiful and thought provoking without being a preachy environmental film. It is really wonderfully filmed.
