Where "Muppets Treasure Island" and "Muppets Christmas Carol" had jokes and fourth wall break, they stayed faithful to the classic story. This goes over the top goofy with elements of "The Wiz" for some reason. Like not having the Wicked Witch until near the end and adding characters that wasn't in the Wizard of Oz or any Oz book that I'm aware of. Like I said her aunt is a real bitch and Dorothy not wanting to go home is an odd choice. This is Oz not the Flipside from "Kidd Video". Plus, there are surprisingly a lot of horny Muppets in this one. There are like several hidden sex jokes that aren't really hidden well. It's not awful, it's still good. Major flaws but good. It's goofy but funny. The music and the cast do a great job. It's worth checking out, mainly if you're a Muppet completionist.
