This 28th entry in Toho Studio's series about the fire-breathing big fella is campily engaging for a while, but at two hours-plus you may come out feeling captivated dead. Go to Full Review

Hongru O 2h best Godzilla movie period. See more Canberk A @Orengest 14h Don’t care what anyone says but this is subjectively, not objectively, the best Godzilla movie. And one of the best Godzilla designs, imo See more Mania I. @TheMania510 Nov 3 Completely bonkers Godzilla movie designed to be the final Godzilla movie but we know that was never going to happen. This movie is part matrix part and Poseidon adventure part big critter movie is all over the map with all sorts of things. It's a lot of fun if you don't take it seriously. It's typical Godzilla affair with him fighting every monster in his universe including Zilla from the Matthew Broderick American Godzilla movies that nobody likes it I kind of do. If you're looking for a good popcorn movie this is the one it's a lot of action it has a lot of heart and it is just so bonker crazy. See more Khaliel P Nov 1 Godzilla: Final Wars celebrates the 50th anniversary of the franchise and concludes the Millennium era, with director Ryuhei Kitamura orchestrating an epic showdown between Godzilla and a dozen of his most formidable foes. The film opens with Godzilla imprisoned under a glacier, only for aliens and a host of kaiju—including classic monsters like Anguirus, Ebirah, Mothra, and CGI Zilla—to unleash chaos worldwide. While human storylines dominate the first hour, Godzilla eventually awakens to battle Monster X and the returning Ghidorah, culminating in spectacular, manga-inspired action sequences. With impressive practical effects and CGI, the film pays homage to Godzilla’s legacy, marking the end of 50 years of Japanese kaiju cinema before the franchise transitions to Legendary Pictures’ Monsterverse.
