Dennis Harvey Variety Black & white almost always looks good - - the one lesson learned by viewers of Frankenstein vs. the Creature From Blood Cove, a campy quasi-horror flashback sorely lacking in satiric oomph. Audience Member Trying to be cheesy on purpose is a dangerous game. When it succeeds, you get something like THE LOST SKELETON OF CADAVRA. When it fails, you get this film. A dreadfully dull affair that goes on for a good twenty minutes longer than it has any right to, with several tragically unsexy T&A sequences that seem to go on forever. Even if you removed those, however, this would still be a slog. The one good thing about this film is its monster suits, which hit the right balance of well-done and pathetic. Those suits deserved a better film than this one. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews
