After a bite from a genetically altered insect gives him superhuman abilities, teenage loser Rick Riker (Drake Bell) decides to use his powers for good. Donning an uncomfortably tight costume, Rick becomes a mysterious crime fighter known as The Dragonfly. But standing in the way of truth, justice and the American Way is an evil villain known as The Hourglass, who plans to become immortal by sucking the life force out of anyone who gets in his way.

Going back to this and watching it with fresh eyes without ever seeing it, this movie is actually quite hilarious. It's sarcasm and overreacting has quite the charm

Superhero Movie (2008) The movie starts out quite interesting, with moments that make you laugh. However, this film is a true parody of other superhero stories released in the 2000s. It's not perfect, but it might please some.

Una de esas comedias paródicas que salieron en la década del 2000 que me perdí en su momento y recién pude disfrutar en pleno 2025. Me encanto, como película es medio malarda pero me reí de principio a fin. Y una estrella extra por tener el placer de volver a ver a Leslie Nielsen, increíble como apenas apareció en pantalla ya me estaba riendo.
