The acting was so believable that despite a far-fetched plot it was very watchable. The dark humor was good and the locations beautiful. Also, rather touching. See more 05/11/2021 This movie is something else altogether. It is not "Fargo," it is a masterful film of an eclectic group of characters who give the movie so many quirky, perfect moments. It is really sad that movie critics latched onto "Fargo" and found it came up short. This is one of those movies, like the series, "Schitt's Creek," where all the characters are superb and are wonderfully funny. See more 11/17/2016 There's no harm in following another film's tone, but there's a fine line between homage and cheap imitation. The Big White conjures the dark farce of Fargo well, but throws itself in a wood chipper with its terrible ending. This is a neat black comedy that's riddled with holes. See more Read all reviews
