Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Didn't realize this was an Ulli Lommel flick till the credits rolled. I sat through it despite - so you won't have to. My previous all time worst film ever was his "Zombie Nation" - this one is probably around that level. It's been ten years since I've seen it so my memory is not to be trusted on the matter. There's not too many scenes with audible dialogue - but it won't effect the viewing experience. There's some nudity and Jillian Swanson is a good looking watchable young woman though her acting isn't really tested here. Ulli just let the camera roll and then cut something together. So to recap - if it's possible because this doesn't really play like a movie - more like a high school art project - that gets a D-, there's some supernatural dude killing all of 'Lenore's' friends. There's a about 10 minutes per scene where he stands and watches the would-be victim, then there's a few shots of the knife rising and falling, some red stuff, then on to the next scene. Once in awhile we cut to a middle-aged Edgar Allen Poe scrawling with, what's suppose to be a quill pen but is obviously just a feather because when you see his paper, he's just creating a bunch of blobs. He's standing there looking forlorn. That's about it. The movie ends - I'd like to say suddenly but not suddenly enough. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Avoid this movie at all cost. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Probably one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Only the cover is nice (and misleading). It's not even worthy of youtube, since it would probably be flagged as many times as it has been viewed. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Meandering nonsense of a film. It had nothing to offer in terms of plot, setting, acting, directing, music, or cinematography - essentially declassifying it as a valid film in the first place. Looks like failing film student's final project. There is nothing Poe about this movie. This number of words in this review pays too much respect to the film. yuck. stay very far away. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I tried to sit through this but couldn't. I like Poe, but come on people, don't butcher it.
