Brian Holcomb PopMatters Diana Rigg plays the title role without remorse. Her Hedda suffers no fools and appears ready to strike like a coiled snake. Audience Member A boring, stuffy, high brow kind of movie without any big stars based on an old play. I didn't care for this movie, it's just too boring. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A filmed play if ever there was one this suffers from its stagebound origins even the outdoor scenes are obviously sets. Its heavy and sorrowful with a frankly despicable heroine but on the plus side the great Diana Rigg plays her well. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
