Audience Member The premise is interesting, but with so low a budget, with such a long playtime, and with such a dreary subject matter it simply demands too much from its audience. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The sex offender is made into a tragic hero and his ultimate suicide in the very arms of his suitably cute but deranged heroine takes absolutely Wagnerian proportions! The fact that his compulsive acts of rape remains unexplained throughout the movie stresses the impression of fate and tragic inevitability. The struggle against his own destructiveness was in vain and the only way that he can express "free will", in an honorable way, is by ending himself facing a murky sea, symbolizing the relentless destiny. This film is intriguing but leaves me with a bad taste as of something old, bad ... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member a 2hr43min long film but one doesn't lose interest even for a single minute Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Mørkt mørkt mørkt... Denne er for spesielt interesserte. Som meg. En skikkelig vond innføring i psykologi. Stor skuespillerkunst fra begge hovedrolleinnehaverne. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member A rarely seen film depicting the psychological struggle from the perspective of the multiple rapist. A little bit long, though. Both Jurgen Vogel & Sabine Timoteo are impressive for portraying their complicated roles. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie is a bit too long... I like the first half of the movie, which is a realistic portrayal of the emotional world of released sex offenders. But the second half is getting overly dramatic... I understand Theo felt trapped, but how come Nettie didn't even try to find someone to help? Both of them just remained passive and hopeless even though there was certainly something they could do! God, that was upsetting. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
