steve d A strong script meets good actors, the film is engaging and well acted. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Great acting by a stellar cast. The dialogue seems real and it is smarter that your average rom-com. Blair shines! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member There is something really easy going and beautiful about this film that makes me want to watch it year after year. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Another romantic comedy from Ed Burns. Just like the rest pretty watchable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member The title gives it away - there's something nice about this movie that is continually bulldozed by somewhat repetitious, cliched and predicable characters and storyline .A rather dreary woman and man and their rather limited schoolfriends are catapaulted into vague success by the scriptwriter whilst singers say the most unlyrical things to music. The tepid water gradually drains from the bath in the required time without a gurgle at the end - This is like an 80s version of The Love Boat set in 2007 - . It will be interesting to check out Burns' other movies on DVD where the meat of movies like this can be extracted in 5 minutes of zipthrough with the mouse. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Top-notch Eddie Burns. Solid writing and terrific cast. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
