there is an audience for this movie, and that includes people who love an unconventional romance and who aren't bothered by a bit of contrived storytelling Go to Full Review

It's puzzling to me why a quality romantic comedy/drama such as this gets sent to DVD purgatory Go to Full Review

Malik abdullah M Oct 2 If compared to the original it was really fast paced, really missed the spark of it's inspiration but also not as bad everyone makes it to be See more Marcus T Feb 25 I'm a huge Elisha Cuthbert fan and she didn't disappoint here. She was quite funny and played her quirky character with conviction. Jesse Bradford's character was a bit wishy-washy, but it played into the plot. Many people apparently didn't get the humor of Elisha's character. I laughed a lot. Overall, a sweet story. See more Tasin M 12/05/2024 It was truly a soul-touching film. I had previously watched Elisha's movie, and from there, I was captivated by her beauty, which led me to seek out more of her work. This film was one of them. Initially, I was expecting a typical, decent American movie, but what I watched was something entirely different, profoundly magical and unique. I wouldn’t claim this to be the greatest movie ever made or one that earned an overwhelming amount of money at the box office, but it touched my soul deeply. It was genuinely a good movie. In our fast-paced and demanding lives, we often find ourselves frustrated, anxious, and selfish toward others. However, characters like Charlie Bellow remind us of the true meaning of life. His kindness adds a layer of meaning and inspiration. I may not always reflect on myself this way, but I love being kind and witnessing the goodness in others. In the movie, the contrasting nature of Jordan’s violent tendencies and Charlie’s gentle demeanor creates an authentic and heartfelt dynamic. Many interpret the departing train in the film as a symbol of destiny forcing separation. However, I believe that, in the end, we decide our own paths. We must see our journey through to the end to truly understand what lies ahead. Even when we feel so defeated that we want to give up, we cannot leave this world until we have written our own destiny. See more FilmGamer 09/18/2022 I always think about how Jesse Bradford's character thanks to his good friends in the film allows him the opportunity to move on, and that alone dodges a lot of harmful romantic tropes. This is a totally harmless almost forgettable movie that has a certain charm thanks to director Yann Samuels. Good, maybe not, but entertaining enough to be worth your time which is saying something. See more 09/06/2015 too much is just that, too much. See more 06/25/2014 Not such a great movie, but it's got such a profound message. More people should live... See more Read all reviews
