I always think about how Jesse Bradford's character thanks to his good friends in the film allows him the opportunity to move on, and that alone dodges a lot of harmful romantic tropes. This is a totally harmless almost forgettable movie that has a certain charm thanks to director Yann Samuels. Good, maybe not, but entertaining enough to be worth your time which is saying something.
