Nikhat Kazmi The Times of India My Sassy Girl is a sweet little entertainer for all you diehard romantics out there. Feb 28, 2020 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...quickly establishes itself as an uncommonly interminable romantic comedy... Rated: 1.5/4 Oct 24, 2008 Full Review Kevin Carr 7M Pictures there is an audience for this movie, and that includes people who love an unconventional romance and who aren't bothered by a bit of contrived storytelling Rated: 2.5/5 Aug 28, 2008 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Gazette (MD) It's puzzling to me why a quality romantic comedy/drama such as this gets sent to DVD purgatory Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 28, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews

Tasin M It was truly a soul-touching film. I had previously watched Elisha's movie, and from there, I was captivated by her beauty, which led me to seek out more of her work. This film was one of them. Initially, I was expecting a typical, decent American movie, but what I watched was something entirely different, profoundly magical and unique. I wouldn’t claim this to be the greatest movie ever made or one that earned an overwhelming amount of money at the box office, but it touched my soul deeply. It was genuinely a good movie. In our fast-paced and demanding lives, we often find ourselves frustrated, anxious, and selfish toward others. However, characters like Charlie Bellow remind us of the true meaning of life. His kindness adds a layer of meaning and inspiration. I may not always reflect on myself this way, but I love being kind and witnessing the goodness in others. In the movie, the contrasting nature of Jordan’s violent tendencies and Charlie’s gentle demeanor creates an authentic and heartfelt dynamic. Many interpret the departing train in the film as a symbol of destiny forcing separation. However, I believe that, in the end, we decide our own paths. We must see our journey through to the end to truly understand what lies ahead. Even when we feel so defeated that we want to give up, we cannot leave this world until we have written our own destiny. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/20/23 Full Review FilmGamer I always think about how Jesse Bradford's character thanks to his good friends in the film allows him the opportunity to move on, and that alone dodges a lot of harmful romantic tropes. This is a totally harmless almost forgettable movie that has a certain charm thanks to director Yann Samuels. Good, maybe not, but entertaining enough to be worth your time which is saying something. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/18/22 Full Review Audience Member too much is just that, too much. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Not such a great movie, but it's got such a profound message. More people should live...
