John Anderson Variety Overacted and overblown, pic will underwhelm commercially, with theatrical perhaps limited to friends and family. Jun 19, 2008 Full Review Laura Clifford Reeling Reviews ...director Thomas Whelan embraces the wanderlust spirit in this enjoyable if uneven film, whose qualities often reflect the television background of most of its cast. Rated: C+ Sep 3, 2008 Full Review Robin Clifford Reeling Reviews The use of such locales as Bolivia, Nicaragua, Panama and Peru adds to the exotic flavor of the film. Rated: B- Sep 2, 2008 Full Review Ryan Cracknell Movie Views Part The Graduate, part Fitzcarraldo, The Art of Travel is a tribute to living on the road less traveled. Filmed entirely on location, it offers a more rounded portrayal of culture outside of the standard Hollywood clichs Aug 18, 2008 Full Review Brian Orndorf BrianOrndorf.com It's a sturdy directorial job for a difficult movie; one that wants to spread the idea of travel as the ultimate cotton swab of life, but also engages in good times to keep the less spiritually open audience members awake. Rated: B+ May 15, 2008 Full Review Frank Ochieng Movie Eye Travel is an ambitious, involving and extensive travelogue that challenges the imagination. [A] feasible fable that allows one to remain contemplative and connected Rated: 2.5/4 May 6, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews

plAyer1 p great tale of the Darien gap Pan American highway! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/22/23 Full Review Audience Member The film kept my attention during the first part through the jungle. It got increasingly better as more interpersonal relationships began developing. Finally it seemed to be turning into an engaging love story. But it became clear at the VERY end that the protagonist, Conner, was still just as much of a self-centered jerk as he was at the very beginning. At both the beginning and the end, it turns out everything was about HIM. Which was quite disappointing, since I had started to like him. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member If you love adventure movies, it's a must! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A good movie from start to end....at times you can tell the budget is low but it does not affect the story and at times you feel that you are vicariously on the journey. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Stunning cinematography, good story but terrible acting. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Sure it can be better, but the ending really is just how I wanted it to be! :D Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
