Trained in methods of killing from an early age, Raizo (Rain) is a member of the secret clan of assassins known as the Ozunu. After the Ozunu kill his friend, however, Raizo breaks free from them and vanishes. Meanwhile, Europol agent Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) discovers a money trail linking the the group to murders. Raizo saves Mika from his former comrades and joins forces with her to bring down the Ozunu forever.

Ninja Assassin isn’t a bad movie; it’s just not very involving. The viewer watches from a safe distance as limbs are lopped off, and blood erupts from the body like volcanic blasts, but the ninja rules remain ambiguous.

Anyone who says this is a poorly made movie is obviously a puny, jealous, envious person. In my honest opinion this movie has got to be the best martial arts movie ever made. From the storyline down to the cinematics this movie is the greatest of all time. The action and bloodshed is amazing. MK got nothing on this movie!

This was a very good movie compare to the trash they make now. Flim is sensitive to what audiences or critics say f that. We need more movie like them a solid story telling and actually gore of a movie. Now everything is pg3 when should be Rate R because you gotta hold back n make it kid friendly or audiences sensitive plz. Unleash that old school writing 1977 to 2009. Those were times.

They must have spent a fortune on ketchup to make this film. I don't know that it's a realistic portrayal of the Ninja but I doubt that it is. Instead of showing us a Ninja college, they should have built more on the mystique. This is what attracts many to the film. The gore in the film is just silly
