Sam Toy Empire Magazine Over-filled and self-indulgent, this is an irritating little film. Rated: 1/5 Mar 20, 2008 Full Review Danny Bangs Little White Lies The trio of male leads must rank among the most odious protagonists in modern movie history, and the film finds itself with almost nothing to say about them beyond tepid indulgence. Mar 20, 2008 Full Review Michael Rechtshaffen The Hollywood Reporter ...This slice-of-life picture has a loose, youthful energy recalling early Spike Lee that is entirely fitting for a country that is enjoying a cultural growth spurt. Nov 13, 2006 Full Review Matthew Turner ViewLondon Rated: 2/5 Oct 18, 2008 Full Review Jason Gorber Film Scouts The story puts the pot in "melting pot", as we watch these stoner dudes take a road trip to a festival in search of fame, fortune and laughs. It's got the trappings of a better film, but unfortunately the jokes land flat. Rated: C Jun 21, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member really funny in parts, and i enjoyed watching this sa film reflecting a young sa subculture, a bit too entrenched in the male/female roles, i found that quite narrow , and predictably boring, but possibly it is true in many ways... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member It has its moments. Not many, but they're there. Feels a bit bogged down by simplistic male/female stereotypes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member VIVA SA FILM VIVA! joey's "liquid weed trip" filming technique was excellent.cool to see some buddies friendly faces at koppi too. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Mike M From the glimpses Barker offers, the South African comedy scene - consisting of knock-off Chuckle Brothers, rabid misogynists and Jack Osbourne lookalikes performing observational routines about "The A-Team"'s theme tune - isn't the most promising milieu, and the leads' offstage badinage needs work, to say the least. It's attractively shot in slacker-chic monochrome, but my enthusiasm was curbed very quickly. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/15/08 Full Review Audience Member And now i see where my Saffa friends get it from....... So funny, and almost like a home movie. If it weren't for the implausibly good looking girls who were going out with very plausibly normal looking guys. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Sex, drugs and comedy. Pure entertainment, though its a bit of a drag from the cinematograhic perpsective. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Read all reviews
