Hambone H Bella is the true villain of this series Rated 1/5 Stars •  Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/13/25 Full Review jakov s God, so, "Eclipse" let's just get in to it. So, things I didn't like were: love triangle is badly made Bella is just switching from Jackob to Edward and and vice versa (I get ti from the half of the movie because she needs to have Jackob's smell on her but still), to many excessive kissing scenes (again), intimate scene (Bella and Edward) that we didn't need, some too cliched and predicitble dialogs (from Jackob), and Bella being so irritating with "I want you to change me". Things I did like: fight scenes were really well made, cgi still ok, character background stories were really interesting although short, I also liked braking vampires cgi and flying glass particles from it, plot was... ok, and screenplay aswell. It was, however, still pretty entertaining with the unnatural characters as always and ridiculous storylines. I guess I should have expected this, but the entire movie felt so pointless and against its own self. The whole thing was unpredictable in a very bad way and just restated things from the past two movies before ruining plotlines before they reach their necessary climax. The film leaves you wanting more than it gave and was ultimately not a memorable addition to the franchise thus far. Rated 3/5 Stars •  Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/01/25 Full Review N P "Eclipse" does feel like it drags on for the majority of the film with repeated story points, lackluster dialogue, meandering filler moments, a pandering love triangle, grating unhealthy behaviour from one particular character and pure exposition to the big climax of what the last 4th and 5th instalment was entailed to be. However, Twilight is an addictive and entertaining series in and of itself, mainly due to it's expansive characters, unique and moody YA tone, small town forest-ty setting, lead stars' chemistry and tragic yet fantastical concept (werewolves, vampires etc.). The amalgamated final sequence excited and thrilled me throughout, and learning about the side character's behind stories offered depth to the world and made us care more for what was going on. At the end of the day, it's worth a watch just to get you through to understand the overall lore and get going to the next film.
