      Critics Consensus

Its leads are likeable, but Remember Me suffers from an overly maudlin script and a borderline offensive final twist.

Casey G Not bad, but forgettable. I do remember this movie as the first time I saw Robert Pattinson as a serious actor, and that is noteworthy in and of itself. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/10/24 Full Review Annika L SUCH a good movie. A bit on the slower side but the beginning gets you so hooked and the ending is something I never expected. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/07/24 Full Review Shae F Robert Pattinson is perfection!💯💚🩵🧡🤍🪽🤤 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Victor O I caught this movie in Peyton List's filmography, but I noticed the list of other splendid actors and decided to give this a shot. But it took me a while because I heard there was a controversial element about this, but I decided to watch it anyway. 2001. Tyler is a young, handsome man living his life going to college in New York City. He makes things difficult due to his rash temper and gets himself into a modest amount of trouble to get arrested. Taking it upon himself to stick it to the man, with the man being the cop who arrested him, he decides to two-time the cop's daughter. But she is a sweet, gorgeous, and charming girl named Ally that he eventually falls head over heels in love with. It truly turns his life around for the better despite the troubles that his life has faced which Ally uncovers and forces him to face to become a better person. It seems all well and good when something terrible happens at the very end. I saw this to see the performers but ended up enjoying this story. A good drama is a good drama. I can see why the ending was somewhat controversial, but it wasn't as bad. Had it been made a year after that would have been in poor taste, if anything it feels tacked on, had it built up better to it then it could have been less controversial. So many great talents, Pattinson proving he was a great actor wasted in that stupid vampire film series, and de Ravin proving she's a talented film and television actress. Major respect for the people of the great city of New York.
