Robson C Catalina tinha toda a sua vida pensada: sua equipe do colégio iria ganhar o Campeonato All Stars e ela entraria em uma universidade com a bolsa. Porém, tudo cai por terra, quando a sua mãe se casa com um homem rico e elas mudam para Malibu. Ela começa a estudar em um colégio de elite e conhece Evan, sua paixãozinha, e a irmã dele, Avery, última ganhadora do campeonato que entra em conflito com Catalina. Catalina decide então montar a sua equipe de líderes de torcida para ganhar de Avery. Depois de algumas sequências medíocres, aqui a franquia ganha um up, com um elenco melhor escalado e com uma protagonista, a cantora Christina Milan, mais simpática. Todos os problemas são entendíveis pelo público que torce realmente pela vitória do grupo de Catalina. É a fórmula já utilizada no segundo filme da franquia, Bring It On Again, do Davi contra o Golias, mas os dramas das personagens e a música latina que permeia todo o filme, o torna um pouco mais interessante.
