Audience Member well crafted WWII pic post WWII really intense bummer theatre about life during wartime from a female perspective which is very grim. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Movies like that are the reason I love war movies. Beautiful. True story too, which makes it so much more emotional. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review velimir s Obezglavljena realnost osvajanja, pobjede, ponosa ...i silovanja koje ide uz to. Nema goreg trenutka za biti zena, nego na strani gubitnika u ogromnom ratu. Bljakavo. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolutely haunting. Anyone who talks about whose 'fault' it was or Hitler's crimes misses the point of the film and erases the terrible suffering of German civilians at the hands of Russian army. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Brutal to see what war can do to people. It is gripping and a movie that will leave you impacted for sure because it highlights an incredibly horrible event of the mass rape of German women by Soviet men, who were desperate for revenge due to the Brutal Nazi assault on the USSR and it's inhabitants. I would be prepared to be at times disturbed, yet the film carries a love that truly fits in well. A very sad movie but incredibly powerful and extremely historically accurate. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member A well made movie based on real-life events. Despite being rather long, it seemed a bit lacking in character development, or at least elaborating a little more on their motivations. The way the main characters were portrayed, it was hard to feel much sympathy for either of them. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
