Audience Member Typical Americans.. their problems are somebody else’s fault. The prison system ruined their family, not the kid’s decision to invade someone’s home and be complicit in murder. No personal accountability, which is EXACTLY why the kids ended up doing what they did to land themselves in prison. This culture of blaming others for one’s circumstances is becoming more and more prevalent in American society. Nobody wants to own their own bad outcomes, but you can be sure they are happy to take responsibility whenever something good happens. Typical 21st century United States. Disgusting.
