While I’m okay with coming of ages movies, I like there to be a strong, hard kernel of honesty at the core of the story. Director Nick Richey seems to agree, and 1-800-HOT-NITE is a film that calmly gazes at kids who might be falling through the cracks.

1-800-Hot-Nite is surprisingly heartfelt and realistic. While it is not the comedic odyssey the opening suggests, don’t let that deter you from checking it out. Thanks to the amazing cast and Richey’s clear, distinct vision, it works on many levels.

To be completely honest i started looking for a new movie to watch 40 minutes after i realised it was going to be another scream'n run teen film where the producers are too scared to put anything too crazy in the movie unlike Kids or Thirteen it was literally a problem with different groups of people swear and shout a bit the carry on shouting and running constant swearing ''sex this ''she likes you'' ''i wanna hook up with her '' that ,run, swear a little more because ''were so cool'' (obviously nothing happens) basically its 70% mouth 30% action . so if you like action do not watch this

Are these reviews on here really real or paid for by the director himself? This movie made absolutely no sense from beginning to end. It’s movies like this that all these streaming services spend money on thinking they are good enough to make a profit then when it doesn’t you wonder why they keep raising the monthly subscription so often.

This movie reminded me of my childhood and running around town with my furends. It is crazy to see the things kids do and don't talk about with their best friends. I feel like this movie did a great job of that. The story feels real and compelling. The actors did a fantastic job. I love the look of the film it makes it feel very down to earth and real. This is added to my favorite list, instant classic.
