This year’s nominated short films are a disappointing batch with a few gems mixed in. The topical ones are a bit boring while the most interesting are the least political, a rarity in short films. Go to Full Review

Striking in its exposition of different animation styles in these digital times. Nothing overwhelming story wise but OUR UNIFORM is the most graphically clever, animating cloth in a burqa to create its statement. As a Lennon fan, WAR IS OVER! had a kick. Go to Full Review
