Audience Member Julie Delpy stars and directs next to Chris Rock What happens while spending 2 days in New York City? As much shenanigans as possible when it comes to family Mingus and Marion are married But his sanity is pushed to the limit when his wife's crazed, over-sexed French relatives crash their cramped New York apartment The chemistry in this is undeniable thanks to Delpy and Rock You just have to sit through a lot of banter among everyone There is culture clash but only so much you can put up with everybody's inability to wise up and mature Not quite Woody Allen-level Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Cristiana B This is an unfunny mess whether you are bilingual or not - we quit about 2/3 of the way through. How did Chris Rock get suckered into doing this thing??? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/17/22 Full Review Audience Member Monumentally unfunny. There are few attempts at funny and they fall flat. There are smoe attempts at warm and fuzzy and they come off as cloying. Yuck. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review aaron g Complainy characters in NY, respect Chris Rock but I didn't enjoy watching him in this role. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member There’s no way Chris rock woulda tolerated this for more than 30 seconds 2.5 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/21/21 Full Review Audience Member The non-stop cringe-comedy makes for a movie that is consistently less funny then its prequel. All the French characters are simply too annoying. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

      J. Hoberman ARTINFO.com 2 Days in New York is initially quite pleasing in its chaotic near slapstick but the non-stop manic insouciance grows wearisome and ultimately self-indulgent. Feb 22, 2019 Full Review Candice Frederick Reel Talk Online ... even with its brief imperfections, these are two days you'll want to watch over and over again.
