Frankie goes boom is in its core a romantic comedy and unfortunately the movie is more dumb than funny. The cast is OK and it tries to be like Zach and Mimi made a porno but it’s not near as funny. The movie does have a few chuckles and watching Ron Perlman in drag is over the top but there’s nothing here that memorable.

I enjoyed this movie just for Ron Perlman. It is a very strange movie but quite enjoyable I found. Good chemistry with Hunnam and Perlman. I would watch it again.

I saw this at the Milwaukee Film Festival one or two years ago and got major laughs. Crude, not for everybody but Ron Perlman was amazing and I even enjoyed Chris Noth!
