Frederico Teixeira G It is really well done and performed, and the portrait of Ethiopia is fair, considering it doesn't stigmatize the country. It also shows a bit of how Oil Companies are involved in perpetration of violation of Human Rights in Africa. Nevertheless at the end the directors tried to give their own interpretation of the meaning of the movie and it becomes a bit flat. Certainly freedom of expression is highly important but then the influence of European companies on the support of dictatorships seems secondary. Taking that in consideration, the end of the movie kinda feels like "silence diplomacy" that the films tries to criticise - "Sweden government and diplomacy sucks, but let us not be to harsh on them, after all, they saved us". That's an impression from someone who is not a member of the Anglo-European community. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
