Stealth H May 13 Quirky, beautiful, brilliant, painful, frightening. Milla Jovovich gives an Oscar-level performance in this study of an abusive relationship. Her opening monologue is way off center and promises, maybe, a funny movie, but not so much. Halfway through, reality bites, and a horrific battery will put a pain in your stomach that won’t go away. Enjoyed the characters for the most part (give or take Aisha Tyler). Sure, things were predictable, but I very much enjoyed the side characters telling us information about the main characters in a kind of interview narration. It provided much needed levity and also sort of humanized some of these characters by giving them family members and giving us some background information. Not terrible. Not great. Right down the middle. If you've seen every other movie you'd like to watch, then go for this one on your second pass. See more 05/31/2017 Rarely is something this elaborate, this mundane. Some laughs are present, and the story is just engaging enough to keep you the bare-minimum of invested, but mostly it seems like its just a platform for Milla Jovovich's nudity.
