Meyer Levin (Patterson Murphy) Esquire Magazine Another type of G-man in the same type of picture. Bette Davis. Interesting because it presents the income tax prosecution angle in serious light. Steve D Lame dialog, solid acting. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/07/24 Full Review Audience Member One of the low budget quickies that Bette Davis was shoved into by Warner's that made her blood boil before she became queen of the studio. Not bad but not really very good either. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member my last Bette Davis pic to view pairs her once again with george brent and skillfully directed by william keighley.
