Farran Smith Nehme New York Post The film feels unbelievably long at 84 minutes, and the color-drained, hand-held cinematography serves only as a reminder of just how good "Night of the Living Dead" really was. Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 31, 2012 Full Review Joel Arnold NPR A savage B-movie thriller with unrealized aspirations to profundity ... Aug 30, 2012 Full Review Bill Goodykoontz Arizona Republic Every day is gloomy in "The Day," Douglas Aarniokoski's film with a creepy, paranoid atmosphere that's more effective than the performances. Rated: 3/5 Aug 29, 2012 Full Review Jack Fleischer Battleship Pretension This Day feels like an MTV spin-off of The Road. With a near monochrome color pallet, and scenes of intense action and violence it never seems to offer substance with it's style. Mar 22, 2021 Full Review Ed Travis Hollywood Jesus The script will keep you engaged in this solitary place. The relationships built among this family of survivors feels real and tested. And the events of the film bring out interesting and violent changes in the family. Apr 1, 2020 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed Could definitely have benefited from twenty more minutes of story. Dec 6, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews

Bryan B Dollar store knockoff of the road. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Those kinds of sweet, short watches then forget it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member The day is entertaining enough but overall this isn’t a good film. The acting isn’t that great and the story is simple. It’s a low budget film and with the lack of manylocations except one house it feels like it. More could’ve been explained in the backstory since I could care less that any of these characters. A simple and forgettable film. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/17/20 Full Review Audience Member A bunch of people the writing couldn't make me care about got killed. I only give it 2 stars because I feel bad for the guys who made it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Ten years after the collapse of society, five survivors (Shawn Ashmore, Ashley Bell) of the apocalypse battle raging cannibals at an isolated farmhouse. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Watchable but not a brilliant film i was let down by the ending Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
