Audience Member This is one of those movies that is so bad it's good. There does not seem to be a good actor in the cast yet every single one of them has enough confidence in their abilities to satisfyingly chew scenery...and chew...and chew. Even the script can't help them on this one: between the inexplicably immature wife; teenaged son who can't seem to find the obvious silver lining of having to live in the backyard, electricity-having, all-to-himself playhouse; and a brother who may very well actually just be a robot programmed to recite Bible verses and hymns, there just isn't much dialogue here that resembles actual human speech. All that said this is a great example at not only how not to write, cast, and shoot a movie but it also fails to reach the oh so lofty standards of the made for tv/straight to dvd realm of film making. All in all though this is definitely worth a group watch, and could easily lend itself to bad movie drinking game status. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews
