Synopsis
Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami, known for his award-winning allegorical works, is profiled by documentarians Pat Collins and Fergus Daly. Drawing on face-to-face dialogues with the director, as well as interviews with critics and noted film scholars, Collins and Daly provide insights into the work of a little-known but highly influential cinematic visionary. In addition, the film reviews some of Kiarostami's work that branches away from cinema, such as photography and digital installation.
