Audience Member Joe Pernice has skillfully found an engaging and entertaining way to tell a story in "Chasing Yesterday" that will resonate with the youth of today on so many levels. Expectations, pressures, heartbreaks and tragedies are so widespread for many young people in the fast paced world we live in, which can lead to some unexpected downward spirals in life. Sometimes a person simply needs a second chance and the love and support of somebody who believes in them unconditionally. We never know where life will lead us and who will be by our side. When Junior (Eric Nelsen) is compelled by Jenny (Courtney Baxter) to get his life back on track, it becomes an inspiring story of how "Chasing Yesterday" may be his redemption for the Present, and possibly the key to his Future.
