Synopsis
This highly speculative film depicts the childhood of Jesus (Matteo Bellina), a period of his life largely absent from scripture. When a royal decree goes out that all young Hebrew boys must be killed, Joseph (Bekim Fehmiu) and Mary (Maria Del Carmen San Martin) leave Israel for Egypt with their son. As Jesus grows older, he becomes close to his parents, but ultimately begins to realize his spiritual path and returns to the Holy Land to fulfill his destiny.
