Jak B I absolutely LOVE this movie! The pace of the movie is great. I never would have guessed who the "boogie man" was. It kept me glued to my seat. If you enjoy keeping up with politics and/or enjoy suspense I recommend watching this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/18/23 Full Review Mr W This movie is exceptional so far and I'm only halfway through it. I'm so glad that I ran across this movie and recommend everyone watch it. Many people may be biased but those that don't agree might just be the ones who don't want a change that involves systemic racism and most likely believe it's normal. I only wish that one day I have the opportunity to be involved with the making of a project of this magnitude. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/29/23 Full Review R k "88" is a captivating and thought-provoking film that had me questioning many aspects of its narrative. It was undeniably well-crafted and kept me intrigued throughout. The thought that the writer may have uncovered something significant, yet not widely discussed, left me pondering what else might be hidden. It's a gripping movie that gave me pause, particularly in relation to DeSantos in Florida. In summary, "88" was a great film, but its unsettling themes left a lasting impact. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/28/23 Full Review Kimberly A Makes you wonder!! 🤔🧐 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/05/23 Full Review Maurice G Great storyline, story telling. Amazing performances. Underrated piece of art. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/17/23 Full Review Brian C A thinking man's political thriller that evokes the paranoia of Arlington Road but allows the family life of the protagonist to support the film's themes Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) Brandon Victor Dixon's quite good in this movie that's not very good. Mar 3, 2023 Full Review Glenn Kenny New York Times Combined with the increasingly “Parallax View”-like plot machinations, the result is dramatically wonky — and eccentrically thought-provoking. Feb 16, 2023 Full Review Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times Overall, the approach proves too cluttered and diffused, especially if the goal — as it should be here — is to build real dramatic tension. Feb 16, 2023 Full Review Liam Lacey Original Cin An attempt at a old-fashioned conspiracy thriller about race and dark money in politics in America, 88 is numbingly artless, less a credible drama than a collection of characters lecturing each other. Rated: D Mar 23, 2023 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall With a sharply talented cast, this political thriller is made intriguing as offbeat characters rise above the over-serious plotting and a relentless barrage of enormously important issues. Rated: 3/5 Feb 24, 2023 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue Dixon’s compelling performance is overshadowed by a series of progressively far-fetched plot twists that compromise underlying messages about campaign finance loopholes and socioeconomic inequality.
