In 1999, lowly thieves Sachin (Kunal Khemu) and Zaramud (Cyrus Broacha) get caught up in a high-speed chase that wrecks their stolen car, which unfortunately belongs to high-ranking gangster AGM (Mahesh Manjrekar). He offers Sachin and Zaramud the chance to work off their debt, and soon they find themselves traveling the country collecting AGM's outstanding gambling debts. As a cricket scandal engulfs India, the pair find themselves in increasingly dangerous situations.

Amusing gangster-comedy about a pair of Mumbai scam artists who are trying to collect a debt for their bookie boss in New Delhi. Albeit a little too long, it works well even without the usual Bollywood song & dance. Bomani Irani and Amit Mistry are scene stealers.

probably one of the most under-rated movies of all time, 99 has a good story which keeps you engaged well enough for good couple of hours. A bit of fiction and bit of reality, the director should be given kudos for making in some manner an intelligent film.

I seriously did not expect much but what it turned out to be,just blew my mind!! The storyline follows the lines of Lock,Stock,Snatch etc and it does THAT very well,indeed its just excellent. Intelligent story,hilarious comedy and great acting is what makes a movie like this. Sad that it couldn't do well at the BO cuz movies like these is what bollywood needs.

99 is a vey well directed and researched movie which hits the spot very frequently while watching.. It involves great performances by a talented cast. The way it raises so many different questions using a single plot is pretty amazing. Cyrus Broacha will remind you of Seth Rogen. The music is very well composed too. All in all, a very under-rated bollywood film which should have got more recognition.

A smart film that is superbly directed and thoroughly entertaining without any dull moments.Class performances by Boman Irani and Mahesh Manjrekar(who is at the top of his game) while Kunal Khemu and Cyrus Broacha are bearable.
