Shashidhar S Broke the barriers of cinema making in India. Considered a cult classic it has large following for its narration style which was unique at its time. Imagine being able to make a shot film about that? Well they've done if. Seems like a bunch of randomly cut together home videos. As much as your first instinct is to revile the people you see in this film, you just can't - they seem more like sweetly dorky, lonely, misguided souls than a vicious killer cult. In the end the sheer ambiguity of the situation leaves you disoriented with a strange mix of emotions. A flat-out brilliant, criminally unknown movie.
