Audience Member Irrepressible ingénue chases Italian one-night-stand all the way to Sicily, escaping an economically depressed Argentina and her gritty, small world of dead-end jobs and petty crime. Elsa’s (Valentina Bassi) charming naïveté and eternal optimism carry this film. Also loved her Italian nonno and his revolutionary philosophizing.
