joanna m Very sweet story. My family is Polish, and we lived near the Italian neighborhood. Lots of similarities between the two cultures, family-oriented, food-oriented , family businesses, emotional, and very loyal and loving. The two main characters had good chemistry, and the cast portrayed some stereotypes but they were not over the top like Jersey Shore or the Sopranos. Nice film to watch on a lazy weekend with the family, and refreshing to see a movie with decent language. I married into an Italian first generation family, and lots of characters were like people I know. The mob characters are on the side of the good guys, and brought lots of the laughs. Enjoyable to watch , with no violence, and very little offensive language or content.
