Brooke Shields and her eyebrows remain as perfect as ever, and Cary Elwes gamely lends charm to these ridiculous hijinks. Go to Full Review

Its sincere, aspirational sentiments about it never being too late to write your own second chapter feel genuinely meaningful. Go to Full Review

Elwes and Shields have such brilliant chemistry that even through the bickering, there’s an undeniable warmth in all their scenes. Go to Full Review

Evy M. @Mohana4u2 2d Great movie. Terrible Brooke Shield. She can’t act. Can’t model either her looks got bad after her young years. Bad skin for one See more Val W 6d Struggling to find a Scot in this film- which is rather sad but not unexpected Scenery lovely, relatively harmless tosh. See more Laurie E. @Laurielye Dec 22 I liked the setting and Scottish accents. Storyline was predictable, but enjoyable. See more David H @CotswoldsDave2025 Dec 16 It's light, frothy and a bit silly in places - but for unwinding over Christmas, I rather like it. A guilty pleasure. Cary Elwes and Brooke Shields have undeniable chemistry; and she still looks great for someone who is 60 years old. It's predictable, pretty and too perfect in place - but after a few Christmas Baileys and mince pies who cares? A fun seasonal pick me up. We can all be a bit too serious in our movie choices. Enjoy if you do tune in! See more Adele C @AdeleC Dec 7 if i could leave less than half a star i would. oh my word. predictable with 2 dimensional characters who aren’t likeable at all really. the plot was completely incoherent, it was like they cut half the film out and then had to sort of glue the random scenes they had left back together in whatever order. 90% of the scenes could have been from any low quality christmas film out there. plotlines and character traits were forgotten half way through and it barely mattered because you didn’t even care about any of the character anyway. really odd. not even really a film. just sort of a bunch of stuff and then stuff and then closing credits See more Stephanie A Nov 30 Simple, predictable, boring. Watched because of holiday/winter scenery, in my pajamas drinking pumpkin spiced latte. Otherwise, no way. It must have been written by a man because no woman would find that lead character appealing. Ick. See more Read all reviews
