The story is a cross-generational gimmick in search of any purpose beyond exalting the MAGIC and FAMILY TOGETHERNESS of the holiday season. Go to Full Review

Vicki P @Vicki424 2d Absolutely unwatchable. I love Christmas movies, not this one though. Probably the worst I’ve seen! The dialogue is so bad. There is no plot. The characters are not likable either. See more Debbie V 07/25/2024 Absolutely loved this movie. I also love seeing Cheryl Ladd. I hope she will do some more movies with GAF. See more Stephanie M 01/02/2024 I usually really look forward to Hallmark Christmas movie time. I realize this was a Great American Christmas movie and maybe that is why is was so horrible but I have seen some good Great American Christmas movies but this was definitely not one of those. I felt no connection between the actors in fact the acting was just bad in general. It was uncomfortable to watch. Like the actors were all trying WAY too hard to get the faith message across to the point of insincerity instead. Would not recommend, waste of time. See more John P @jpyshny 12/17/2023 Four generations celebrating Christmas. Great great grandma has a new boyfriend as does the great granddaughter. If you've ever been the young man meeting the parents for the first time you'll be able to relate to one of the scenes. Think about what it was like before cell phones, televisions, and radios were brand new. How did people spend their time? Talking! Telling stories! Remembering the old days! As a child of the 50s and 60s it was fun to travel back in time during this movie. Reading the other reviews, it seems like there's a lot of people that don't like this movie very much. Personally, I found it, engaging and sentimental, and sweet. See more Brent S 11/28/2023 This is a great family movie. It is what I have grown to expect from Great American Family.
