For anyone who found the Christian allegory in the Narnia books a bit too subtle, this may well be the film for them. Christmas child Noelle, born in a stable to parents Joe and Maria, using her miracle powers and with a little help from her friends, foils the evil plans of villainous property developer McHerod (who would no doubt have got away with it if it hadn’t been for those meddling kids) Yes, it’s Jesus meets ScoobyDoo…

This is a great movie for children who think that every Christmas movie is set in New York, or at least the US. The thrill of seeing a film set in a small town in N. Ireland made the children in the school film club declare it was the best Christmas film they have ever seen! It has a decent plot and is well acted, the children stealing the show. Lots of Christmas messages and a sprinkling of schmaltz. Sure what more do you want?

Loved it! Great to see unknown kids playing most of the main characters... this wasn't a rerun of anything,?in fact it's based on true happenings in the town of GlenArm in Northern Ireland.. I've watched a few times and love it everytime
