Two teen sisters, Hailey and Brooke, go to live with their grandmother when their father is arrested for a crime he didn't commit. Their grandma used to be a country music star but she retired after the death of their grandfather in a car accident. Hailey wants to be a country singer like her grandma but she suffers from bad stage fright. Brooke used to be a barrel racer but she was injured in the accident. The girls convince their grandmother to come out of retirement to raise money for their dad's defense. The concert is a success and helps Hailey get over her stage fright. However, when they go to withdraw the money they find that it is gone. The girls and their grandma find a way to recover the money and they ultimately use it to free their father. And with their grandma's help both girls go on to chase their dreams of being a singer and a barrel racer.

It is said that if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all. So I will say that it is good to see former Charlies Angel actress, Cheryl Ladd in a film.

A Cowgirl’s Song delivers the musical goods in spades, with songs by McClure and her band, The Imaginaries. May can sing like a mother, and I was surprised to see she is an actress who sings as opposed to a musician trying to break into acting.

A moving movie with a heart for family values. Maybe because I come from a horse loving family, I found the story very interesting. Some of my family members still ride in barrel races, so I know how hard they work for those trophies. The idea of a family singing together to accomplish a goal just added to the enjoyment of it all. Overall, a good family movie and inspiring to any family. All generations pulling together keeps us all together in the end.

Great addition to the Ciwgirls n' Angels movie franchise. Such a cute and wonderful family movie! The cast is awesome. Music is great. And it's home.

A delightful, uplifting film that the whole family can watch! Cheryl Ladd, Darci Lynne, and Savannah Lee May work magnificently together, and the film moves smoothly with an outstanding musical score from The Imaginaries, a husband-wife duo from Chickasha, OK, which is where the movie was made.

Synopsis
